TechCrunch problems?

Bear with me this is a bit of Tinfoil hat style paranoia, but what is going on with TechCrunch? First Marshall Kirkpatrick leaves, next you have the TechCrunch UK debacle which ruffled a lot of feathers. Then came the NY Times/RSS debate with Dave Winer and today it’s Natali Del Conte leaving.
With so many negative things happening I have to ask: can Michael Arrington hold it together? TechCrunch has gotten immensely popular and now the heat’s coming. It’s a lot of attention and a lot of politics.
